A balance of Nickel, Iron, Chromium, Molybdenum and Copper comprises an alloy which is Incoloy 825 tube.It contains high contents of Iron, Nickel, Chromium, Molybdenum and Copper, which inherits a property of providing prominent corrosion resistance not only in adequate reducing environment, but also in oxidized conditions.
Chloride stress corrosion cracks are prevented because of the balanced amount of Nickel, Iron, Chromium, Molybdenum and Copper contents. We also can add Titanium, which in turn, can stabilize the alloy to withstand intergranular corrosions. It has ability to withstand wide range of temperatures, from cryogenic to more than 1000° F (538 °).Adding to this, among high level contents of Nickel, Molybdenum and Copper, it has Nickel at slightly more amount, which produces improved substantial improved corrosion.
There are distinctive properties and their characteristics at industrial level when it comes to nickel 825 annealed tube and 825 Inconel tube, although both are nickel alloys. It is made of balanced high level-contents of Nickel, Iron, Chromium, Molybdenum and Copper alloy. On the other hand, Inconel 825 is made of components such as Nickel, Chromium, Iron, Molybdenum, Aluminium, Niobium, Carbon and Sulphur.
Although both have higher contents of Nickel, Chromium and Molybdenum, when it comes to tensile strength and hardness, alloy 825 tube tends to be stronger. The tensile strength is 80-120 ksi, whereas it is 75-95 ksi in the case of 825 tubes. As a result, because of more tensile strength and being a harder material, UNS N08825 welded tube provides more corrosion resistance properties, with higher contents of Nickel, Chromium and Molybdenum being another reason.

When cost efficiency is considered, Incoloy is very costly than copper. That being said, it means that copper has partial properties with respect to long term utilization than 825 tubing, or Incoloy.Incoloy mainly comprises high level contents of Nickel, Chromium, Molybdenum, Iron and Copper, which make it prone to not only provide corrosion resistance in adequate environments, but also in oxidized situations.
Copper only provides corrosion resistance depending on its life span. So, if one wants longevity, excellent utility and performance, one-time investment on EN 2.4858 condenser tubes is strongly recommended, which promise you good output.

When observed, good machinability characteristics of 825 tube alloy are executed and observed. There are many high-speed machine parameters that confirms machinability to this material.I, II and III are the three different cutting tools used for this purpose, along with the respective three different speeds (500,1000 and 2000m/min) at respective speed rates, which are 0.1, 0.2 and 0.4 mm/rev.These are the parameters that ideally judge the machinability characteristic of this material.
Known well for longevity, which depends on heat resistance and durability, Incoloy 825 tubing makes itself to be one of the most widely used product at industrial levels, where we tend to require extensively high number of temperatures.Mainly it is used for the purpose of soldering and welding. Not only with respect to its application mode, they require low maintenance cost.Since they inherit longevity, they do not require replacement. These are the most common properties that they deliver, making them an ideal use-case for aluminium industries where it acts as a solution to heat-treating furnaces and aging furnaces.
There are many properties of Incoloy 825 seamless tube, but, other than corrosion resistance and durability, it mainly can be stabilized using Titanium to deal with intergranular attacks after fabrication process.Being particular to welding, it must be heated in the critical temperature range of 650 – 760 ° C.It is also approved to offer pressure vessel operation up to 525 ° C.These properties, in turn, are ideal in use-case in tank trucks, expansion bellows, sulphuric acid and piping and vessels, propellor shafts and calorifiers.
