Hastelloy C276 is an austenitic superalloy grade that has nickel, molybdenum and chromium in its chemical composition.The n Hastelloy c276 pipe shows good resistance to oxidation and corrosion in different types of environments.They also have a good tolerance to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing solutions and can operate within the temperature range of 1900 °F.The alloy C276 exhaust pipe has a high melting point of 1371 °F and thus, they are ideal for high temperature applications.
The Hastelloy alloy C276 annealed pipe is known for its high strength and cannot be hardened by heat treatment process.They are annealed at 1121 °F, after which they undergo quenching.Due to all these properties, the DIN 2.4819 clad pipe can be used in critical industries like gas processing, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical equipment, etc.They show good resistance to chloride ion related stress corrosion cracking and can be used in seawater equipment.
